Examination Overview

個別学力検査等（前期日程）；Individual Achievement Test First Round

• 総合選抜；Comprehensive-Based

大学入学共通テストと個別学力検査等の得点で合格者を決定します。入試は、文系、理系Ⅰ、理系Ⅱ、理系Ⅲの4種別からなり、入学後の成績と本人の志望によって2年次から学類・専門学群に所属します。
Successful applicants will be determined based on their scores on the common test for university admissions* and individual achievement tests. There are four types of entrance examinations: Humanities, Science I, Science II, and Science III. Students will be assigned to a college or school from their second year onwards, depending on their grades after admission and their aspirations.

• 学類・専門学群選抜；College/School-Based

大学入学共通テストと個別学力検査等の得点で合格者を決定します。学類・専門学群によって科目が異なります。
Successful applicants will be determined based on their scores on the common test for university admission* and individual achievement tests. Subjects vary depending on the college or school.

個別学力検査等（後期日程）；Individual Achievement Test Second Round

大学入学共通テストと個別学力検査等の得点で合格者を決定します。学類・専門学群によって科目が異なります。
Successful applicants will be determined based on their scores on the common test for university admission* and individual achievement tests. Subjects vary depending on the college or school.

推薦入試（学校推薦型選抜）；Entrance Examination by School Recommendation

一般公募制の推薦入試で、出身学校長（外国学校を含む）の推薦に基づき、書類審査、小論文、面接、適性試験、実技検査等によって評価します。一部の学類では、既卒者も出願できます。
This is an open recommendation entrance examination, and students are evaluated based on the recommendation of the school principal (including overseas schools) through document screening, essays, interviews, aptitude tests, practical skill tests, etc. Depending on the college, graduates may also apply. Depending on the college, the common test for university admission* is required.

アドミッションセンター入試；Entrance Examination by Admissions Center

これまでに何をし、これから何をやりたいかを示した自己推薦書に基づき、面接・口述試験によって多面的・総合的に評価します。
Applicants are evaluated multifaceted and comprehensively through interviews and oral examinations, based on a self-recommendation letter that shows what they have done in the past and what they would like to do in the future.

研究型人材入試；Entrance Examination for Research-Oriented Students

研究者を目指す者を対象とし、自ら発見した自然科学の課題に対し、主体的かつ継続的に取り組み、その結果到達した成果を評価します。大学入学共通テストを課します。
This entrance examination is for people who aspire to become researchers, and achievement about research activity in voluntarily and continuously work on natural science issues that they have discovered are evaluated. The common test for university admission* is required.

国際科学オリンピック特別入試；Entrance Examination for International Science Olympiad Participants

国際科学オリンピックに日本代表として選抜された人、代表選考などで一定の成績を収めた人を対象とし、書類審査、面接等により合格者を決定します。
The candidates are those who have been selected to represent Japan at the International Science Olympiad and those who have achieved a certain level of performance in the representative selection process. Successful applicants will be determined through document screening, interviews, etc.

学群編入学試験；Transfer examination

2年次または3年次へ編入するための入試です。
This is an entrance examination for transferring to the second or third year.

IB：Entrance Examination for IB Students；国際バカロレア特別入試

For those who have obtained the International Baccalaureate qualification (including those planning to do so), successful candidates will be determined through document screening, essays, interviews and oral examinations, aptitude tests, practical skill tests, etc.
国際バカロレア資格を取得した者（予定者を含む）を対象として、書類審査、小論文、面接・口述試験、適性試験、実技検査等により合格者を決定します。

Entrance Examination for Students from Foreign Educational Programs；海外教育プログラム特別入試

Successful applicants will be determined through document screening, interviews and oral examinations, etc. for returnees and international students.
帰国生徒や留学生を対象として、書類審査、面接・口述試験等により合格者を決定します。

外国学校経験者特別入試；Entrance Examination for Foreign School Students

• 第1種：私費外国人留学生等長期就学者；Type 1：For long-term students and international students

外国の教育制度のもとで8年以上の学校教育を受けた者を対象とした入試で、書類審査、小論文、面接、適性試験等により合格者を決定します。
This is an entrance examination for those who have received eight or more years of school education under a foreign education system. Successful applicants are determined through document review, essays, interviews, aptitude tests, etc.

• 第2種：帰国生徒等短期就学者；Type 2：For short-term students and returnees

外国の教育制度のもとで継続して2年以上の学校教育を受けた者、かつ日本の小学校・中学校・高等学校に通算4年以上在学した者を対象とした入試で、書類審査、小論文、面接、適性試験等により合格者を決定します。
This is an entrance examination for those who have received two or more years of continuous school education under a foreign education system, and those who have attended a Japanese elementary school, junior high school, or high school for a total of four years or more. Successful applicants are determined through document review, essays, interviews, aptitude tests, etc.

Japan-Expert（学士）プログラム特別入試；Japan-Expert Bachelor’s Program

日本の文化・社会を理解し、日本マインドを持つ留学生人材の育成を目的とし、日本関連企業での就職を希望する留学生のためのプログラムです。
This program is for international students who wish to find employment at Japanese-related companies, with the aim of developing international students who understand Japanese culture and society and have a Japanese mindset.

TISS：Undergraduate Program of International Social Studies；社会国際学教育プログラム

It focuses on an interdisciplinary approach to studying international issues by providing analytical skills based on foundational courses in the fields of economics, political science, sociology, and information technology in the era of globalization.
グローバル化時代における経済学、政治学、社会学、情報技術分野の基礎コースに基づいた分析スキルを提供することにより、国際問題を研究するための学際的なアプローチに焦点を当てています。

TILES：Interdisciplinary Program in Life and environmental Sciences；生命環境学際プログラム

Medical Science Program for International Students；国際医療科学人養成プログラム

We provide education to help students acquire the basic knowledge, technical skills, and specialized perspectives necessary in the medical field. Students are expected to work as medical researchers and clinical laboratory professionals in an international environment.
医療分野で必要な基礎知識、技術力、専門的視点を身につけるための教育を提供します。学生は国際的な環境で、医学の研究者および臨床検査の専門家として働くことが期待されています。

IDE：Bachelor’s Program in Interdisciplinary Engineering；総合理工学位プログラム（学士）

Developing global human resources who can acquire cross-disciplinary knowledge and technology that forms the basis of all manufacturing, think from a first-principle perspective, and work to creatively solve problems and implement new value in society.
すべてのモノづくりの基盤となる知識･技術を分野横断的に身につけ、また第一原理的な視点から考え、創造的な課題解決や新たな価値の社会実装に取り組むことのできるグローバル人材の育成を目指すプログラムです。

BPGI：Bachelor’s Program in Global Issues；地球規模課題学位プログラム（学士）

We select human resources who are interested in issues of the global environment and human society, and who can contribute to society or innovation in the future while utilizing knowledge from the liberal arts and sciences.

School of Transdisciplinary Science and Design；学際サイエンス・デザイン専門学群

The School of Transdisciplinary Science and Design is a new academic group with 40 students scheduled to be established in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in September 2024. Students who will complete all requirements in this school will be awarded with Bachelor of Arts and Science.
学際サイエンス・デザイン専門学群は2024年9月にマレーシアのクアラルンプールに設置予定の1学年40名の新しい学群で、学士（学術）を授与します。

*The Common Test for University Admissions （大学入学共通テスト）is a common entrance examination for Japanese universities conducted mainly by the National University Admissions Center （DNC、大学入試センター）.
